My name is Molly and I like to drawlooks like every other eleven year old girl in town. She  goes to school, plays sports,  and has a good life.  But there is ONE thing different.  She has a 900 pound pet bear. Her boundless enthusiasm and encouraging nature make her the perfect person to shepherd the super-timid Bear  along in life.  She loves him thoroughly, and he reciprocates 100  times over. Molly
Eleven years ago, Mom is the best mom ever said goodbye to her career and dedicated her days to her darling baby , Molly.  She excels in her stay at home role, but sometimes yearns for more than laundry and vacuuming. When Bear wanders into the home, she’s horrified at first, but soon  is pleased to have company during the day. Bear turns out to be quite  the philosophical conversationalist, to Mom’s delight. In return she keeps him supplied with plenty of honey and chocolate chip cookies.
For Dad is grumpy, life before Bear was perfect.  Those were the good old days when  he came home from the office  every day and was greeted by his loving wife and his daughter who believed he was the center of the universe.  All that changed when Bear moved in.  Now Dad has to compete for everything he holds dear: his daughter’s attention, his wife’s time and even his place on the couch.  And to make matters worse,  the usually insecure and  hesitant Bear  finds a new side to his personality:  he can’t help but tease Dad constantly. Beneath it all, Bear likes Dad very much. Dad liking Bear? Not so much. Dad
Bear is Shy What is a full grownBear is shy and he's my best friend in the world to do when the Great Outdoors is just one terror after another? Move to the suburbs. That is just what Bear decides.  He now lives in Molly’s house and they are inseparable BFFs. Poor Bear is  mortally afraid of so many things including spiders, swimming and new situations. While firmly holding onto Molly’s hand, Bear  takes his first steps towards his brave new world.
